Just a brief status update before I collapse. Things I've been working on:
Comedy Festival of One-Acts
I took headshots for TIP's Comedy Festival of One-Acts, opening this week! (Sept. 20-23, 2012). I'll be playing C.B. in Dog Sees God, as well as Laertes in The Fifteen Minute Hamlet.
Other shows in the set include Controlling Interest by Wayne S. Rawley, The Actor's Nightmare by Christopher Durang, and Tom Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound. We just had our first full run-throughs on the weekend, and the response has been pretty solid (at least from the other actors)!
Off the Map
I took headshots and publicity photos for Black Stripe Theater's upcoming production of Off the Map (Oct. 25-28, 2012), directed by Rachel Walzer. Stephan Schmidt did a lovely job on the flyer, incorporating one of my photos on the left-hand side. I also cut out a single leaf to be incorporated into the set...
Sharnoozle!
I did illustrations for Tokyo Theater for Children's upcoming production of Sharnoozle! The flyer will be produced by Linda Polgar. Linda credited my illustration of The Little Mermaid with helping sell out last year's production, so I felt like I couldn't let them down.
Poetry
And finally, I wasn't able to do any poetry readings at What the Dickens! this month due to rehearsal commitments, but I've still been updating the poetry section here and at HowYouFeel.jimdo.com. My recent stuff has become prolific enough that I needed to add two new sections on TheKanert.com: Angels and Demons.
