As we walk
Through the night
Our own light
Shall be less remembered
Than that
Which
We impart
Unto others
Enlighten me.
Transatlantic
I often wonder
Whether the turbulence in life
Makes the flight worthwhile.
But if we don’t fly
We just don’t get there.
And we all know
That we have to get there
One way
Or another.
It’s True
Roses are red
Violets are blue
The world’s greatest secrets
Are hidden from you.
The Saddest Thing
Thought is merely a side-effect
of our bodies’ chemical processes.
If insanity can be explained
as an imbalance of chemicals in the brain,
What does that say about
thought processes in general?
If our much-vaunted thought
is only a side-effect,
souls can’t exist.
